WebAdoption Process: During adoption hours, guests are welcome to walk through our shelter to view adoptable animals. Visits with individual pets take place by appointment throughout the day. Walk-in appointments are typically available within the hour. For those that prefer, you may call 757-397-6004 to set an appointment before you arrive. WebWe are open Tues. – Sat., 11 am – 4 pm. If you’d like to visit cats, call ahead to ensure there are kitties available first 603-539-1077. Approved adoption applications and appointments are required for dog visits. Pet surrenders are conducted by appointment only. If you are unvaccinated, please wear a mask while inside the building.
