Those cabins were built by the CCC in the 1930s so … WebWe had a housekeeping cabin at Blue Bell for $135. This compares to the $120 we would have spent at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Custer. Cabin was rustic but everything worked fine. 2 double beds plus a set of bunk beds, fire ring and picnic table outside. The bathroom was updated and above average.

The employees were exceptional and were so friendly. The one star is due to the experience at the lodge. The Blue Belle Lodge is where we met to load onto the wagons that would take us on a 45 minute ride into Custer State Park. The area is just beautiful.
