My steering wheel is always plugged in the same usb port. I use airlink for the VR headset so there is no physical connection between the headset and the pc. It happens randomly. All three options work fine with VR but I found mouse steering to be the best of the three for accuracy and modulation of steering input. WebI really enjoyed the dirt games and project cars with a controller but didn’t find iracing or assetto Corsa fun until I got a wheel, that being said I would almost put assetto ahead of project cars 2 in almost any way other than the ease of just being able to join a lobby and play multiplayer which I still do a lot in project cars rather than AC.
