In … WebDec 2, 2012 · The bulletin says the gap between the rubber (while on the bike and bolts torqued) is .020"-.040" Mine was a tight zero. The fix is to establish clearance on the mount by filing the rubber surface off with a file. Then putting it back on the bike and torqueing everything down and checking it with a feeler gage.

I read the service bulletin with interest.
