WebFootball for Cancer was created in 2008, since then it has grown from a single tournament, to a Charity that has raised over One Million pounds for local Cancer charities and people. In 2024 we updated our name to Friends Fighting Cancer. This was to show that we have grown from just a football tournament into something much bigger WebStart with the American Cancer Society's Cancer Survivors Network. Reach out to friends or neighbors who have had a serious illness. Ask them how they dealt with these complex issues. Fight stigmas Some old stigmas about cancer still exist.
